THE EVALUATION PROCESS

A Clear Process From Records to Report

A formal evaluation depends on more than the appointment itself. Records, supporting documents, and any required testing help establish the full context and allow the report to address the applicable requirements.

Before we meet, you will receive clear instructions about what to provide. During the secure telehealth interview, we will review your substance use, treatment, recovery, legal, and driving history. The written report is prepared after all required materials have been received.

BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER

We explain which records, documents, and testing results are needed before the evaluation can be completed.

Complete the Structured Interview

We meet through secure telehealth to review your history, current circumstances, and the events connected to the requirement.

Receive the Written Report

Reports are generally completed within 7–10 business days after all required records, documents, and testing results have been received.

My role is not to produce a particular result. It is to understand the full context, be clear about what is required, and prepare an accurate, well supported evaluation based on the interview, records, testing, clinical findings, and applicable Michigan requirements.
